Through
a user-friendly order form (see figure), any hospital department
can enter all necessary data regarding a given transport request:
desired time window for the pickup or delivery of the patient,
priority of the transport, special recommendations such as transport
on a wheelchair/stretcher/bed, medical escort, special equipment
required (e.g. ECG), etc. Departments requesting transports
have on-line access to the status of their bookings. Furthermore,
they are also informed about incoming transports at any time.
